Vault, an encrypted client-side folder in SFTPCloud.

This would have to be based on a dedicated client-side key encryption application.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. WebDAV (Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning) is another protocol that will be used by existing clients. It cannot be modified to include a "vault". When you integrate a protocol, you follow its specifications.
